Editor's Note:
92 years ago today, the "September 18 Incident" erupted, marking the beginning of Japan's full-scale invasion of China and 14 years of atrocities perpetrated by the Japanese army on Chinese civilians. On September 18, 2023, nearly 30 young individuals from Beijing, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau visited the Lugou Bridge, Chinese People's Anti-Japanese War Sculpture Park, the walls with bullet holes of Wanping Fortress and the Lugou Awakening Lion. The young representatives also paid tribute to the martyrs who had made the ultimate sacrifice during the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression by offering fresh flowers in their honor.
