Editor's Note:
Local residents experience harvesting at Beijing's Temple of Agriculture, an annual harvest festival held by the Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum on September 23. The festival aims to promote China's outstanding traditional culture and encourage the public to pay attention to agriculture, recognize its importance, and actively participate in it. The Temple of Agriculture, also known as Xiannongtan, was originally built in 1420 and used as a religious site during the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties.Photos: Li Hao/GT
