Days before the Mid-Autumn Festival which falls on September 29, Shanghai residents are ready to join the queue for their favorite freshly-made mooncakes. Time honored brands such as Guang Ming Cun and Wang Jia Sha known for their exquisite craftsmanship and delectable flavors, attracted long lines on September 27, 2023. In addition to traditional fillings such as fresh meat, mixed nuts, and crab meat, a new variety of mooncake with a filling of fresh coconut and latte has been introduced this year.
