Editor's Note:
The exhibition AlUla: Wonder of Arabia will be held at the exhibition hall of the Palace Museum in Beijing from January 6 to March 22, 2024. It is the first time that AlUla has showcased its spectacular natural landscapes, rare archaeological artifacts, and rich cultural heritage in China. Visitors will embark on a historical journey spanning 7,000 years to explore the mysterious and unique culture of AlUla. Located in the northwest of Saudi Arabia, AlUla is known as a "living fossil" that records history, as it is the intersection of the ancient Silk Road and the Spice Route. AlUla is also the location of Hegra, the first cultural site in Saudi Arabia to be included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Most of the human historical sites here have never been developed and are well-preserved.
