French composer Hector Berlioz's symphonie dramatique Romeo et Juliette was presented by Shanghai Opera House at Shanghai Symphony Hall on Sunday. The concert was conducted by Xu Zhong, Director of Shanghai Opera House, and served as a highlight event of the China-France music exchanges season.
This season of music exchanges, an essential part of the 39th Shanghai Spring International Music Festival, was launched this year in celebration of the 60th anniversary for the China-France diplomatic relations.
