On Sunday, the quadrennial International Rose Conference opened in Mentougou district, Beijing, marking the first time the event has been held in China since its inception 40 years ago. The main venue features an exhibition area of 230,000 square meters, showcasing more than 1,000 varieties of roses from around the world.
