The opening ceremony of the 27th Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) was held on Saturday at the Shanghai Grand Theatre. In addition to paying tribute to the 130-year history of world cinema and the 120-year journey of Chinese cinema, the ceremony featured creative performances that highlighted the vibrancy and charm of Shanghai as a “City of Film.” Over 200 guests from China and abroad walked the red carpet, offering the audience a dazzling visual feast where cinema and glamour met.
