The exhibition "The Legend of the Treasure Fleet Continues" opened on Tuesday at the China Maritime Museum in Shanghai to commemorate the 620th anniversary of Zheng He's legendary voyages to the West. It brings together nearly 150 exquisite artifacts from 14 museums and six port and shipping institutions, offering a panoramic view of Zheng's seven epic maritime expeditions.

Visitors can also experience a VR (virtual reality) journey themed around Zheng's voyages, allowing them to transcend time and space and witness the historical impact and cultural legacy of his journeys.

Zheng (1371–1433), the renowned Chinese navigator and explorer, led the world's largest fleet on seven voyages to the West beginning 620 years ago, leaving an indelible mark on the history of global navigation. In addition to the exhibition, the museum is hosting a series of celebratory activities honoring Zheng's enduring spirit. The exhibition will run until October 10. Photos: Lu Ting/GT
