Editor's Note:
To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, an exhibition themed "For National Liberation and World Peace" opened to the public in Beijing on July 8, 2025. Hundreds of visitors, including veteran soldiers who had participated in the war, attended the exhibition on its opening ceremony at the Museum of the War of Chinese People's Resistance against Japanese Aggression, located near the Lugou Bridge – also known as the Marco Polo Bridge – where Japanese troops attacked Chinese forces on July 7, 1937.
