MODERN RAILWAYS 2025, an expo showcasing the latest railway technology and equipment, kicked off in Beijing on Tuesday. The exhibition is divided into two zones — indoor and outdoor — and covers a total area of 40,000 square meters. The indoor exhibition zone at the Beijing National Convention Center encompasses 16 themed exhibition sections, exhibiting latest technologies and products in all railway specialties. The outdoor exhibition zone, situated at the National Railway Testing Center, features a real vehicle display line stretching 5,000 meters. It mainly showcases real vehicles such as EMUs (intelligent EMUs), locomotives, high-speed comprehensive inspection trains and large-scale track maintenance machinery. (Photos: Chen Tao/GT)
