This year's Mid-Autumn Festival full moon is a "supermoon," which reached its fullest at around 11:48 am on October 7 in China, according to Xinhua. As an old saying in China goes, "the moon on the sixteenth is rounder than on the fifteenth," pictures show people admire the moon in Beijing on the evening of October 7, a day after this year's Mid-Autumn Festival, which is celebrated annually on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese lunar calendar.
