Chinese, foreign scholars enjoy Shanghai’s splendid nightscape on Huangpu River cruise

Participants at the 2nd World Conference on China Studies enjoyed a night cruise on Huangpu River on the evening of October 13. Sailing along Shanghai’s iconic waterfront, they admired the stunning contrast between the historical buildings along the Bund and the modern skyline of Lujiazui, gaining a unique perspective of Shanghai as an international metropolis. The 2nd World Conference on China Studies is being held in Shanghai from October 13 to 15. With the theme of “Historical and Contemporary China: A Global Perspective,” the conference has invited around 500 renowned Chinese and foreign experts and scholars to engage in in-depth discussions and exchanges centered around China Studies.
