The 2nd World Conference on China Studies kicked off in Shanghai on Tuesday. Several Chinese and international guests delivered speeches at the opening ceremony and main forum held on Tuesday morning. With the theme of “Historical and Contemporary China: A Global Perspective,” the conference has invited around 500 renowned Chinese and foreign experts and scholars to engage in in-depth discussions and exchanges centered around China Studies.
