The FISE Shanghai 2025 and urban sports carnival officially kicked off on Thursday in Shanghai. This year marks the event's second consecutive year in the city. The FISE World Series, hailed as a "hall‑of‑fame" event in global action sports, will take place from October 16–19 at the extreme sports park FISEHOOD in Xuhui district.

On the competition side, the Shanghai leg of the FISE World Series will expand its lineup: in addition to the existing BMX, skateboarding, breaking etc., it will add climbing, BMX street, among others.
