The 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) kicked off in East China’s Shanghai on Wednesday. Domestic and foreign journalists at the press center are focusing on the opening ceremony of the expo. This year's event will bring together 155 countries, regions, and international organizations, featuring 4,108 overseas enterprises and covering an exhibition area of more than 430,000 square meters – a new record high for both scale and participation. Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, Nigeria, Georgia, Sweden, and Colombia serve as Guest Countries of Honor.
