A new exhibition to celebrate the Spring Festival kicked off on Monday at the National Art Museum of China (NAMOC) as part of the museum’s plan to mark the Year of the Horse. The exhibition comprises five sections: from At Full Stride into A New Year, which aims to pay tribute to master artists, to Galloping through the Clouds, which focuses on the horse in Chinese art, according to Pan Yikui, director of the National Art Museum of China.
Jin Shangyi, honorary chairman of the China Artists Association, said at Monday’s opening that the five sections weave together the past and the present as they carry “the depth of time, the warmth of the era and the brilliance of art.” Photos: Li Hao/GT
