Star skier Gu Ailing, also known as Eileen Gu, won a silver medal for China in the women’s freeski slopestyle at the Milano-Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games on February 9, 2026 in Livigno, Italy. Gu is only 0.38 points short of winner and defending champion Mathilde Gremaud of Switzerland. She will continue to compete in the women’s freeski big air and halfpipe disciplines. Photos: Chen Tao/GT
