On February 17, a spectacular fish lantern parade took place in Shanghai’s Longhua area, running from the first day to the second day of the Chinese New Year. Visitors gathered to witness the dreamlike procession, which celebrated the start of the Year of the Horse. The lanterns wound through the alleyways like scattered sparks, illuminating the night with vibrant color and light. Also, residents took part in interactive activities such as crafting DIY red envelopes for the Year of the Horse, offering a hands-on way to create and preserve their Spring Festival memories.
