A Shared Voyage: China-US Youth Friendship Program held closing ceremony at Shanghai Port International Cruise Terminal by the city’s iconic Huangpu River on Wednesday. Setting off from Kai Tak Cruise Terminal in Hong Kong at the end of March, 20 students from China and the US began a two-week friendship journey on-board the research vessel “China-US Youth Friendship (OceanXplorer).” The trip included marine exploration activities, as well as visits to Ningbo and Shanghai.
The program was jointly organized by the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs, the China-US Exchange Foundation, and OceanX, a philanthropic ocean exploration and media organization founded by Bridgewater Associates founder Ray Dalio.
