On April 23, 2026, following the burial ceremony for the remains of 12 Chinese People’s Volunteers (CPV) martyrs who lost their lives during the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea (1950-53), crowds gathered at the martyrs' cemetery in Shenyang, Northeast China's Liaoning Province. People came voluntarily to mourn their loved ones and honor the fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives. On Wednesday, a Y-20B large transport aircraft carried the remains and personal effects of these 12 CPV soldiers and returned from South Korea to China. Photos: Cui Meng/GT
