The Memorial Hall of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in Shanghai hosted a series of themed events on Wednesday, marking the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Party. The celebrations included a flag-raising ceremony, lectures on the Party’s history and spirit, and the premiere of a commemoration-themed symphony. An exhibition featuring early CPC members He Shuheng, Dong Biwu and Chen Tanqiu was also available to the public that day. The three Party members were delegates to the first national congress of the CPC in July 1921. Opening on Tuesday, the exhibition details their revolutionary exploits through cultural relics, digital displays and interactive experiences. (Photos: Lu Ting/GT)
