On July 3, the 2026 Grand Yuyuan Summer Fantasy Night kicked off as a marquee highlight of Shanghai’s major summer events. Yuyuan Garden Malls joined partnered with four Chinese animation IPs — The Legend of Luo Xiaohei, Heaven Official’s Blessing, A Record of a Mortal’s Journey to Immortality and Link Click — to transform the venue into an anime-themed wonderland, attracting large numbers of overseas tourists. On the opening night, singer Isabelle Huang led four other vocalists in the opening performance. Across the venue, iconic scenes from the anime series were recreated, with staff members dressed as characters to offer immersive interaction. Visitors could also enjoy guided night tours with lanterns, augmented reality garden experiences, and more, bringing Chinese and international tourists together to roam the city under the dazzling night lights.
