The 2026 Shanghai E-Prix, the 12th and 13th rounds of the 2025/26 (Season 12) ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, takes place on Saturday and Sunday at the Shanghai International Circuit as scheduled. After last month’s visit to Sanya in South China’s Hainan Province, this race event marks the first Formula E season to feature races in two Chinese cities. Shanghai is hosting the event for the third year in a row. New driver and team lineups have added suspense to every round of Season 12. Twenty cars will go wheel-to-wheel on the Shanghai International Circuit. The 3.051-kilometer clockwise circuit combines high-speed straights with tight corners, creating multiple overtaking opportunities throughout the lap and demanding precise energy management. The championship highlights cutting-edge technology, innovation, and sustainability. Fans will once again see the full potential of the GEN3 Evo car, which can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 1.86 seconds.
