To mark the 89th anniversary of the July 7th Incident, which signaled the start of Japan's full-scale invasion of China, crowds of visitors gathered at the Museum of the War of the Chinese People's Resistance against Japanese Aggression in Wanping Fortress near Lugou Bridge, Beijing where the war against Japanese broke out. Commemorative ceremonies were held in the museum, with some visitors scattered flowers on Lugou Bridge in tribute to Chinese martyrs who gave their lives during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
