On July 16, intelligent robots performing patrol and cleaning tasks at Beijing’s Beihai Park moved along the park’s walkways, attracting great interest from both domestic and overseas visitors, many of whom stopped to take photos with them. The intelligent patrol robots are equipped with functions including detecting uncivilized behavior, identifying facility malfunctions, and monitoring trash bin status. The intelligent cleaning robots can operate around the clock on all types of terrain, with capabilities such as garbage and obstacle recognition, autonomous cleaning, precision edge cleaning and yielding to other vehicles when passing.
