Editor's Note:
On July 22, two major red-themed exhibitions opened in Beijing to mark the 89th anniversary of the start of whole-nation resistance against Japanese aggression, the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March, and the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University. The two exhibitions vividly recount how the Communist Party of China rose to lead the nation in resistance at a moment of existential crisis, and firmly reaffirm the Party's pivotal role as the mainstay of victory in the War of Resistance.
