The 28th China Robot and Artificial Intelligence Competition (CRAIC) National Finals of the Humanoid Robot Special Competition were held at Shougang Park in Shijingshan district, Beijing, on Friday. This year’s event featured five specialized competition categories covering small, medium-sized and full-sized humanoid robots. It attracted more than 7,000 students from nearly 200 universities across the country. After multiple rounds of selection, more than 200 teams from universities including Tsinghua University, Harbin Institute of Technology and Xi’an Jiaotong University advanced to the finals to compete for the championship.
