A patriotic education event for adolescents to commemorate the 81st anniversary of Japan's unconditional surrender in World War II was held at Longhua Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery in Shanghai on Friday. A group of adolescents from the drum and horn corps of the Shanghai Youth Center participated in the event, with representatives voicing their commitment to embracing their patriotic responsibilities. They also took part in national defense education activities, where they bolstered their national defense awareness and patriotic spirit through lectures, stories of heroes, discussions on revolutionary history, and hands-on military skills training.
