Editor's Note:
A robotic noodle restaurant began trial operation for internal employees in Beijing's Fengtai district on Friday. After customers scan a QR code on the table to place their orders, the entire process, from noodle making and cooking to serving, is completed autonomously by the equipment. Robotic arms transfer the finished dishes to two delivery robots, which bring them to the designated tables in about three minutes.

It is the first fully commercialized robotic noodle restaurant in the city, according to the Beijing Daily.

The restaurant is expected to open to the public at the end of August. Human staff are primarily responsible for replenishing ingredients, collecting and washing tableware, and preparing beverages, while the noodle-making process can be completed entirely without human intervention.
