On August 19, 2026, the Marriage Registration Office of Beijing Dongcheng district held a special event on Qixi Festival. The activity integrated traditional Chinese marriage culture into the official registration service, offering newlyweds a ritual and meaningful experience while advocating positive views on marriage and family. A group oath-taking ceremony served as the core of the event. Newlywed couples held hands and took sincere marriage vows to respect, support and accompany each other for life.
