The Beijing Folklore Museum held a themed event to celebrate the Qixi Festival, also known as Chinese Valentine’s Day, on Wednesday. The event featured seven activities, including threading needles to pray for dexterity and making Qiaoguo pastries. By blending traditional folk customs, intangible cultural heritage craftsmanship, and elegant poetry and music, the event aimed to recreate the ceremonial atmosphere of ancient Qixi traditions, allowing residents and visitors to experience the captivating charm of Chinese culture in a graceful, classical setting.
