On June 17, 1957, China's first Ulan Muqir was established in Sonid Right Banner, Xilin Gol League, North China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. With small, agile teams, versatile performers, and portable programs, they perform both in groups and in smaller teams, at fixed venues and on the move, bringing regular shows to the grassroots and winning widespread popularity among herders.
