Editor's Note:
Two exhibitions commemorating the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March opened at the Museum of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in Beijing on Tuesday. One of the exhibitions showcases more than 230 precious Long March archival documents, some of which are being displayed to the public for the first time. The second exhibition focuses on the Red Army's crossing of snow-capped mountains and grasslands, displaying 273 exhibits, including 38 sets of precious cultural relics. The Red Army’s nail-studded cloth shoes, a half-length belt, a miniature Party flag, a certificate for grain collection, and other artifacts, together with memoirs and oral histories, offer a vivid picture of the Red Army’s arduous struggle in extremely harsh conditions.
