The Beijing National Defense Mobilization Publicity and Education Center opened to the public on October 14, 2026. Converted from a disused civil air defense facility, the center has a total exhibition area of 4,122 square meters and is the largest venue of its kind in Beijing’s central urban area. Visitors can listen to air-raid sirens, try simulated shooting, practice sending messages in Morse code and experience virtual fighter jet flights. The center will serve as a public education hub for national defense in Beijing and will organize lectures on national defense and educational programs around key dates to raise public awareness of national defense and safety.
