Editor's Note:
Nie Er Primary School in Yuxi, Southwest China's Yunnan Province, is China's only school named after Nie Er, composer of China's national anthem "March of the Volunteers." Centered on Nie Er's legacy, the school hosts a Nie Er Heritage Studio, a children's choir, folk and symphony orchestras. Integrating stories of Nie Er and the national anthem into classes, it acts as Yuxi's key patriotism education base. Students of various ethnicities learn together, exploring the anthem's history and passing on patriotism. Photos: Li Hao/Global Times
