Plans are in place for China to re-construct its media over the next 3 to 5 years.

China’s General Administration of Press and Publications said it will increase publications with an international influence.

In recently released guidelines for media and publication reform, the government said it will help to build six to seven international media corporations with assets over 10 billion yuan and sales up to 10 billion. Public offerings of established corporations are also in the plan.
