1. Volkswagen Sagitar 1.6

Price: 138,800 yuan to 149,800 yuan ($20,325 to $21,936)

The dimensions of the car are 4,544 x 1,760 x 1,461 mm, and it adopts a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine. The car has a maximum power of 74kw and the maximum torque is 145Nm. The Sagitar features automated manual tiptronic transmission and adopts a four-link suspension structure, a new four-wheel independent suspension design, and multi-link independent suspension.

The car also features an advanced electric stability program (ESP), and air bags for safety.

 

2. Toyota Corolla

The wheelbase of the car is 2,600 mm. It adopts the 1.6-liter and 1.8-liter engines, and both have 4-cylinder 16-valve DOCH engines, using the new variable valve timing with intelligence (VVT-i) technology.

The power and torque of the 1.8-liter car increases 7kw and 14Nm respectively. The 1.8-liter car offers 6-speed manual transmission and 4-speed automatic transmission.

 

3. Changan Mazda Mazda 3

Price: 118,000 yuan to 138,000 yuan ($17,279 to $20,208)

The dimension of the Mazda 3 is 4,405 x 1,745 x 1,465 mm. It has a maximum power of 110kw and the maximum width of the wheelbase will be 2,640 mm.

The Mazda 3 adopts the MZR 2.0-liter engine, featuring a sequential valve timing (S-VT), variable intake system (VIS) and variable tumble control system (VTCS) which are being used for the first time in 2.3-liter engine cars.

This car has the 1.6-liter 4-cylinder HR16DE aluminium engine, which were researched and developed by Nissan and Renault, resulting in a decrease of 30 percent weight than other engines of the same level. It can provide a maximum output of 80kw at 6,000rpm and the maximum torque will reach 153Nm at 4,400rpm. Its wheelbase is 2,600 mm and the inside length of the car is 1,836 mm. It can run 100 kilometers on 5.6 liters of fuel.

 


5. Volkswagen Lavida

Price: 112,800 yuan to 145,800 yuan ($16,500 to $21,351)

The dimensions of the car are 4,608 x 1,743 x 1,465 mm, its wheelbase is 2,610 mm. The car comes in either a 1.6-liter or 2.0-liter engines, and they can provide a maximum power of 77kw and 88kw. It adopts the automated manual tiptronic transmission.

7. Hyundai Elantra
