In good news for this city's kids and their indulgent parents, one of the world's most popular live shows, Disney On Ice: Mickey&Minnie's Magic Journey, will be on the way to Beijing this November, said the organizers, who started selling the tickets on Monday.
With prices as low as 50 yuan ($ 7.8) for one ticket, kids and their families will have the chance to join Minnie Mouse on a journey into the magical worlds of Disney's The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Peter Pan and Lilo & Stitch. Over 50 characters in Disney's 16 classic stories will appear on the ice to present parties around the world from Halloween to royal ball on Valentine's Day.
"We gather all the grand holidays and celebrations in one single show, allowing you to travel around the world. You will enjoy the whole show together with your favorite figures," said producer Nicole Feld, who led a creative team of professionals touring Beijing for the show.
With dazzling special effects and gorgeous stage designs, the audiences can "discover Ariel and Sebastian's enchanting undersea kingdom; visit the Pride Lands with Simba and Nala; soar through starry skies with Peter Pan and his sassy fairy friend Tinker Bell; and say 'aloha' to fun with Lilo and Stitch," the producer expounded.
"The magical journey is full of fun and laughter and if you see it, you will never want to go home," Feld added.
