Adapted from Victor Hugo's classic novel Notre Dame de Paris, the original French-language version of this musical debuted in 1998. Since then it has played around Europe. This production is the full-length English version of the musical which premiered in 2000 in London. Popular songs from the show, such as "Belle” and “Le Temps des Cathédrales” have also been translated into various languages.
