Rockers Xu Wei and Black Panther to join this year’s Golomber Music Festival

Renowned Chinese rocker Xu Wei and rock band Black Panther will join the upcoming fourth Golomber Music Festival, the organizers of the festival announced in Beijing on Sunday.

Since its debut in 2014, the event has grown into a major outdoor music festival, which at its largest toured to 14 cities across China over 28 days.

At the announcement on Sunday, one of the event's founders, Du Youpeng, said that this year's festival is set to bring 20 concerts to 10 cities, including Suzhou in East China's Jiangsu Province and Guiyang in Southwest China's Guizhou Province, over 70 days.

The concerts will feature various indie bands and renowned musicians, including well-known indie bands Coolfish, Andy & Mrblack and Peng Jun & Frog.

According to Du, rocker Xu Wei is set to join the music festival's Guilin leg of the tour in South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, while veteran rock band Black Panther will perform during the Linyi leg in East China's Shandong Province.
