The Ecuadorian Ambassador to China Jose M. Borja L. presented books about Peruvian culture to the Renmin University of China during a book donation event on April 25. He also gave a speech on the bilateral relations between China and Ecuador in which he praised China for its support during the April 2016 natural disasters in Ecuador. The ambassador also said he hoped the books would help the teachers and students of the university gain a deeper understanding of Ecuador. Liu Yuanchun, the vice president of the university, also attended the event. Both Liu and the ambassador expressed their wish for further academic cooperation.
