More than 300 designers are heading to the South China city of Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, to showcase their latest designs during Zhuhai Design Week, which runs until Wednesday.

According to a press release sent to Global Times on Sunday, the design week is the latest collaboration under China's Great Bay Area initiative, which involves designers from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Macau.

It is also the first stop on the national tour of the well-known Beijing Design Week, which has brought its main theme exhibition and the Living is Giving exhibition to Zhuhai.
