Tomorrow Advancing Life (TAL) announced its acquisition of Israeli game-based learning startup CodeMonkey during a press conference at the Global Education Summit in Beijing on Tuesday.

Bai Yunfeng, president of the education group, said in his speech that "TAL sees this cooperation as a good start and it will join hands with the outstanding enterprises in the world to bring better education to more children."

Ophir Gore, head of the trade and investment mission at the Embassy of Israel in Beijing, Yossi Baidatz, CEO of The Center for Educational Technology, Jonathan Schor, CodeMonkey's CEO and Gale Huang, CTO of TAL, were present at the event.
