 A 12-year-old boy attempted to add the personal information of the lead actor of The Wandering Earth on his family's household registry, saying he adores the actor and longs to be part of his family.

Fang Chenghan from East China's Anhui Province, went to the police station with his father and filled out the family's household registration on Tuesday, when police noticed some odd details in the application.

The last page of the application included the name, gender, nationality and height of Wu Jing, the lead actor in the recent hit movie. 

Fang said that he is a big fan of Wu and he wants to become a member of Wu's family.

"I plan to add (Chinese billionaire) Jack Ma Yun in my register," a netizen said.
