 "Learn to transplant hair in only three days," read the advertisements posted by a Beijing-based crash course on hair transplanting, which was found to be irregular by the local authorities and was ordered to stop, on Monday.

As the problem of balding has begun troubling more and more young people, many medical cosmetology training institutes have opened their own hair transplanting courses seeking greater profits, The Beijing News reported.

The teachers, who were not authorized doctors, nor with any kind of medical qualification, were teaching students how to transplant hair, practicing on the head of a person, a reporter from The Beijing News found in an institute.

A professor in the field said the real training for hair transplanting is complicated and requires students to train for five to seven years. 

The local health bureau has ordered some of the institutes to close and the police have filed a case for investigation.
