Renowned Chinese baritone Liao Changyong held a solo music concert/poetry recital at the National Art Museum of China (NAMOC) on Tuesday surrounded by the museum's collection of calligraphy works and landscape paintings.

According to museum director Wu Weishan, each ancient dynasty in China has valued poetry, and this love of poetry has also extended to paintings and music such as that presented at the Tuesday night concert.

Liao started the concert with the song "Three Wishes of Rose Flowers," and continued with more classic songs followed by readings of famous poetry.
