A series of "Wanted" posters about the dangers surrounding the current novel coronavirus epidemic instantly garnered tens of thousands of reposts and likes on China's Twitter-like Sina Weibo after their posting on Sunday.

On Sunday morning, Sina Weibo user Yueyatang No.55, whose real name is Guan Kun, posted illustrated "Wanted" posters for  "2019-nCoV," "rumor," "avarice," "foolish rage," "detest family," "ignorance" and "malpractice." The posters quickly earned 16,000 reposts and 30,000 likes.

"There have been many motivating and supporting artworks dedicated to people who are fighting on the frontlines… So I wanted to create something that everyone can relate to," the 28-year-old illustrator from East China's Anhui Province told the Global Times.

"The virus is not the only enemy that we are facing. There are also other threats… When the fight against the virus is over, maybe we can look back and keep them in mind so that the disaster won't be repeated."

"The real world is just like this. Since there is a bright side, there must be a dark side… We need to remember the sins hidden in the dark, and remind ourselves how precious righteousness and kindness are and how much they need to be protected," commented netizen Eilan-zhang below Guan's post.
