China’s box office during New Years Day reached 1.299 billion yuan ($200.80 million) and broke the 1.271 bln yuan record from 2018. January 1's single-day box office hit 601 mln, also breaking 2018's record with a y-o-y increase of 107.12%: China Film Administration
