Diplomats at the Ukraine Embassy in China paid a visit to an ongoing Chinese New Year special exhibition at the National Art Museum of China (NAMOC) on Thursday.

Sergii Kamyshev, Ukrainian Ambassador to China, said that he hopes Ukraine and China can beat the COVID-19 pandemic in the upcoming Year of Ox, which is well-featured in the museum's The Vitality of Art exhibition

Ukraine and the museum have a long established friendship when it comes to cultural exchanges.

In 2017, a sculpture by Wu Weishan, president of NAMOC, landed in Kiev, capital city of Ukraine.

The Door to Hearts: Dialogue between Taras Shevchenko and Du Fu introduces two important literature figures in the history of the two countries, the 19th century Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko and Tang Dynasty (618-907) poet Du Fu, in the form of two books that look like two opening doors.
