hoarder/ 囤积者/ (tùnjī zhě)

A: I recently bought a lot of things online. A lot of them were doubles.

(zuìjìn wǒzài wǎnɡshànɡ mǎile hǎoduō dōnɡxī, yǒu hǎoxiē dōushì chònɡfù de shānɡpǐn.)

B: You mean something like a towel and you want to buy different colors?

(nǐ shìshuō lìrú yītiáo máojīn, xiǎnɡyào mǎi bùtónɡ huāsè zhèyànɡ ma?)

A:Yup. I always feel that each color I see is so beautiful so I just buy them. But I have also discovered that they don't have much use. I basically throw them in a corner, but I can't bring myself to throw them out.

(duìā, wǒ zǒnɡjuédé měiɡè yánsè dōuhěn piāoliànɡ, jiù mǎixiàlái, dànshì, yòu fāxiàn tāmén méiyǒu tèbié dà de yònɡchǔ, jīběn shànɡ dōubèi rēnɡzài jiǎoluò, yòu shěbùdé rēnɡ.)

B: You better be careful. This could lead to developing a bad hoarding habit.

(nà nǐyào zhùyì le, zhèyànɡ hěn yǒu kěnénɡ yǎnɡchénɡ tùnjī wùpǐn de bùliánɡ xíɡuàn.)

A: Yeah. I've heard of a psychological condition called compulsive hoarding. They keep adding new things and can't bring themselves to throw out the large amount of useless things they have hoarded.

(shìā, wǒ tīnɡshuō ɡuò yīzhǒnɡ jiào tùnjī qiánɡpòzhènɡ de xīnlǐ wèntí, bìnɡrén zài bùtínɡ tiānzhì xīndōnɡxī shí, hái shěbùdé rēnɡdiào tùnjī de dōnɡxī.)
